Description
You remove a deck of cards from its case - you'll immediately capture the attention and imagination of your audience because the cards have all been CUT IN HALF by a single diagonal cut running lengthwise from corner to corner! This unusual deck of cards will be used for an experiment in "psychic sympathy", you explain, as you fan through both half-packs face-up to show them all different. Turning the cards face-down, fan the cards from hand to hand and have a spectator select any one. There is no force used - the card touched is slid from the pack and left face-down on the table in full view.
Picking up the other half-pack, you repeat the selection process with another spectator, leaving you with the half-cards face-down on the table.
Emphasizing the improbability of a perfect match, owing to the tremendous odds against such an occurrence, you slowly and dramatically turn over the two half-cards - AND THEY DO IN FACT MATCH PERFECTLY TO FORM A COMPLETE CARD! Full instructions are provided.
