Chasan the Great ().

A Great poster with photos of Nicol, broadside advertising Chasan’s expose of spirit mediums. Chasan was the stage name of Charles A. Nicol, known as “Al” to his friends. Nicol was the brother of The Great Nicola, and the son of Nicoli the Great (John Nicol). After retiring from the road and settling in his hometown of Monmouth, Illinois, Nicol gave up performing under the name of Von Arx, and instead worked both under his given name, and as Chasan the Great.
