Invented by the legendary Hideo Kato, MIRROR MATE was first offered by Tenyo in 1986.
This trick is VERY RARE, because it was only produced for a short period of time.
It was actually a very good seller in my magic shop back in 1986, but it quickly became unavailable.
This one is NIP (new in package), so it is definitely a "must have" for the serious Tenyo collector!

THIS PRODUCT DESCRIPTION IS FROM THE MANUFACTURER:
In Mirror-Mate, magical reflections prove the adage that you cannot always believe what you see.
The magician displays a small double-sided ordinary mirror and a cover.
The cover, containing a cut-out silhouette of a chess knight, is slipped over the mirror.
Magically, the chess knight "comes to life", appearing in the mirror, only to vanish seconds later."
