Truly a warehouse find. This is the original version from Germany by Magische Schatztruhe.

A small box contains six dice. They are seen to be turned up with the numbers from 1 thru 6. The box is closed and a spectator is given a die to roll. Let’s assume the number is 6, now when the box is opened all dice are facing up with the number 6.

You can end the routine or continue by dumping the dice out and having the examined and replaced into the box. The dice rolled again and ends up on let’s say number 4 now when the box is opened all dice are facing up with the number 4. Everything is examined

A clever solution and very easy to do!
